No. The Lupit Pole Classic G2 (Standard Lock) is pressure-mounted: it tensions between your floor and ceiling joist and comes down without leaving holes. You do need a solid joist above the mounting point.

Should I get 40mm or 45mm?

If you train at a studio, match whatever they use so your grip transfers.

Which finish should I choose?
